Protecting our environment.

Securing a healthy future.

National Environmental Outreach, Inc. (NEO) was formed with the purpose to assist the underprivileged and any other constituents with a need to provide community outreach trainings, inspections/assessments, and cleanup of environmental contaminants that exist to assure a safe environment.

Education, including formal educations, public awareness and training should be recognized as a process by which human beings and societies can reach their fullest potential. Education is critical for promoting sustainable development and improving the capacity of the people to address environment and development issues. While basic education provides the underpinning for any environmental and development education, the latter needs to be incorporated as an essential part of learning. Both formal and non formal education are indispensable to changing people’s attitudes so that they have the capacity to assess and address their sustainable development concerns. It is also critical for achieving environmental and ethical awareness, values and attitudes, skills and behavior consistent with sustainable development. Education should deal with the dynamics of both the physical/biological and socio-economic environment and human (which may include spiritual) development, should be integrated in all disciplines, and should employ formal and non-formal methods and effective means of communication.

Who We Are

Background

Mission

To assist the underprivileged and any other constituents with a need to provide community outreach, education, inspections, and cleanup of environmental contaminants that exist to assure a safe environment.

Goal

Enrich the quality of life for the population that goes unnoticed.

Current Conditions

Environmental Science is a multidisciplinary academic field that integrates physical, biological, and information sciences (including but not limnology, soil science, geology, atmospheric science, geography and geodesy) to the study of the environment, and the solution of environmental problems. Environmental science emerged from the fields of natural history and medicine during the enlightenment. Today it provides an integrated, quantitative, and interdisciplinary approach to the study of environmental systems. Environmental science came alive as a substantive, active field of scientific investigation in the 1960s and 1970s driven by a.) the need for a multidisciplinary approach to analyze complex environmental problems, b.) the arrival of substantive environmental laws requiring specific protocols of investigation, and c.) the growing public awareness of a need for addressing environmental problems.
